Jessica Atteberry, a spokeswoman for Moore, emphasized yesterday to WorldNetDaily Moore is focused on his appeal to the Alabama Supreme Court but indicated he would not rule out a candidacy for the country's highest office.
"Anything is possible," she told WND. "However, until the appeal process has been run through, he'll make no decision for political office."
There is speculation that he could run under the banner of the Constitution Party. The previous Constitution Party candidate was on the ballot in 41 states. Could Moore become Bush's Nader?
If this pans out, I might even welcome the left-wing Nader back into the race. Moore would do ten times more damage to Bush than Nader would do to the Democratic nominee.
