The Blog Workers International Union & Benevolent Society has unanimously voted to endorse Ben Masel as candidate for Governor of Wisconsin. If elected, Masel has announced his full support for the new union's demands.
In addition to backing Masel's campaign, the Blog Workers' International Union & Benevolent Society will be selling shirts, at the suggestion of Jaxdem, to raise funds for NN10 scholarships for workers volunteering in the campaign.
Masel strongly supports a fair wage for bloggers, and, when elected will work to hold the corporate interests behind the shameless exploitation of online blog journalists accountable.
When asked about his plans, Masel, appearing slightly disoriented after the lengthy weekend festivities at NN09 replied:
If nominated I'm not running. If elected I'm not serving. Governors have to get up early to be at grade schools by 9:00 for ribbon cuttings. I want to be a Senator; they don't start seriously until noon.
Union members, undeterred by his initial response, are forging ahead with plans to assist in the campaign.
