I simply cannot believe my ears. Republicans don't want the POTUS to talk to their children? They don't want THEIR tax dollars being used this way. He's the pied piper? He'll be indoctrinating them into socialism?

Indoctrination: "to instruct in a doctrine, principle, ideology, etc., esp. to imbue with a specific partisan or biased belief or point of view."

Pied piper: "a person who induces others to follow or imitate him or her, esp. by means of false or extravagant promises."

March of Dimes! Bush talked to chlidren - why am I thinking of a pet goat?

Wouldn't you WANT a person who has achieved Obama's success (a skinny black kid with a funny name)to encourage ALL kids to stay in school, learn social skills, get an education, etc. etc. ?

As for TAX DOLLARS and INDOCTRINATION. The SOBs used MY Tax Dollars to tell young men that 9/11 was perpetrated by Iraqis and they cheered as they went off to fight that terrible enemy. And then they learned, if they lived long enough, that they were LIED TO! Where did I hear that the Iraqis would greet us with flowers ... and oh yeah, Iraqis would PAY FOR THE WAR! I recognized bull shit when I heard it, but others were INDOCTRINATED and I know many of them personally!

The more these idiots open their mouths, the more they convince thinking people that they are looney tune! But of course, they also encourage the nutcases to rid our country of this threat and THAT makes me heartsick.

And from me personally to all African Americans, PLEASE know that there are plenty of thinking people out here who detest racism and if these statements have racism at their root, really they need lots of prayer. But I'm so sorry if you are offended personally by these remarks. I ask that you consider the sources.
