The "CCC" is an off-shoot of the original Citizens Council. Haley went to one of their rallies in 2003, spoke on their stage, and agreed to have his photo taken. He then called them indefensible and refused to request his photo be removed.

Haley with the diverse CCC. The CCC (Council of Conservative Citizens) is widely known to be an offshoot of the Citizens Council of previous decades. It is not a stretch to say they are the same thing.
Flash-forward to 2010. Citizens Council is, according to Barbour, "an organization of town leaders." After being called on his obvious revisionism, he calls the organization "indefensible."
The good Guvnah has a history and it smells bad. In a nutshell, over seven years Haley has -- appeared with racist group, gotten photo with them and put on website, then called the group indefensible; later whitewashes state and personal history, calls organization valuable, then indefensible.
There's one thing here that's indefensible. The Governor.
