Just for the sake of this diary, here is the quote from Obama:
"Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's pretty apparent, and it's troublesome, but keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out," Obama said in an interview with CBS News that aired this morning. "It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

Now, even though that was putting things pretty mildly after the hatred spewed at him by Limbaugh and his righteous flock which includes Glenn Beck, the Oxymoron decided he had to respond. Here was what he had to say:
"I and most Americans do not believe President Obama is trying to do what's best for the country," he wrote. "Never in my life have I seen a regime like this, governing against the will of the people, purposely. I have never seen the media so supportive of a regime amassing so much power. And I have never known as many people who literally fear for the future of the country."
Now, I believe the President was just a little bit generous in his criticism. I know he is the elected President of the land and probably should not engage in really divisive arguments with idiots like Limbaugh. Oh, but lo and behold that is just our forte here at Hillbilly Report. So, with baseball season so close I would like to pinch-hit for the President and respond to the fattest, ugliest cheerleader to ever put on a mini-skirt for the greediest and least patriotic among us.
The first thing I have to wonder is just where was Limbaugh during the Bush Administration and the former "do nothing good" Republican Congress?? Despite a huge majority of Americans that saw through their policies they rammed idiocy after idiocy down our throats. Then it was topped off by a big F&^* off from Dick Cheney. I guess Rush must have taken a few too many bottles of Oxycontin during this time and his memory was a little foggy.
And where was Rush during the run-up to the Iraq War?? The media jumped right on board unquestioningly and did not do one bit of research to find out that what the Administration was telling them was a bunch of lies. They fired America up to go to war in a country that did not attack us, and thousands of people died and over a trillion dollars of the American taxpayers money was wasted.
Of course Rush, Beck and none of these idiotic tea-baggers cared one bit about that. Why?? Because of all the war profiteers in the Republican Party and the kickbacks they were giving the corrupt leadership of the Republican Party. They can protest the myth of granny going in front of a death panel, but when real death was being doled out to our troops and countless thousands of innocent civilians in the middle-east they were silent. Yes, those who weren't profiting from it were just so happy to be blowing up "brown people" as the late George Carlin so eloquently put it.
And now that there are some folks who actually want to invest in our country, and something besides death and corporate profit now these folks are worried. Well, we know how you feel. We watched as our country was almost turned into a shell of itself and the Constitution was used as toilet paper for such things as warrant-less wiretapping, illegal wars, and deregulation that allowed greedy idiots such as Rush Limbaugh to rob their country blind.
So, after seeing Obama dressed up in Nazi attire with the little square mustache on all those posters I would like to just remind everyone whose party and agenda most resembles Nazism:
