I'd like to be a fly on the wall for this meeting:
Sharron Angle is coming to Washington for two days of meetings designed to reassure worried Republican leaders that she will not let Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid define her as an eccentric right-wing extremist before her campaign against Reid even gets off the ground.
Yeah, good luck with that ... the anti-Social Security, Medicare, EPA, Department of Veterans Affairs, alcohol and fluoride candidate, who also happens to favor dumping nuclear waste in Nevada when she isn't hanging out with the Oath Keepers, is going to assure the GOP that Harry Reid won't get away with painting her as an extremist.
And because that won't be entertaining enough, they've added a sideshow:
Angle will sit down with Republican senators on Capitol Hill at the Republican policy lunch, as the guest of Sen. John Ensign, which appears to be creating some controversy. [...]
"This is Ensign going rogue in an attempt to rehabilitate his soiled reputation by latching onto someone popular with Nevada voters," said the source.
Between Angle and Ensign, it's hard to say who the GOP leadership wants to run away from the fastest ... the serial adulterer or the serial nutcase.
