OK, so after viewing the segment, has Palin progressed much at all since sitting with Charles Gibson and Katie Courac?
The gaffe should be properly labeled as a mistake by her speech writer (I trust she has a speech writer). The point in all of this is she has not progressed to a point where one can considered anything that oozes from her mouth as credible.
As a long-time critic of Palin, I hold fast to my beliefs that she is shrouded in a dark cloud that will always result in what we might call 'bad luck'. I have another characterization but I will leave it at perpetual bad luck.
Is it possible to get a little help on how she may be better characterized?
