Only not the real one.
I'm not gonna lie, this is a short diary, but I think the story is excellent.

In one of the most fantastic turns of events of all time, a group that registered the political party name "The Tea Party" has submitted enough signatures to get a line on Michigan's ballot in the fall.
What this means is that when we go to vote in November it will say:
DEMOCRAT: Frank Jones
REPUBLICAN: Wally Smoot
TEA PARTY: Tarquin Fin-tim-lim-bim-lim-bin- bim-bin-bim bus stop F'tang F'tang Olé Biscuitbarrel
So lets say you hate the gub'mint. You love 'merika. You think Adolf Lenin Obama is a Gawrd Damned Sosh-list. And you're dumber than ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag.
Which one are YOU going to vote for?
Various Tea Party groups are planning on challenging, but it sounds like the tricksters have their bases covered:
Gene Clem, president of the Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots, said an alliance of more than a dozen similar groups is investigating potential legal action that could challenge Steffek's Tea Party for "infringement of name recognition."
However, state records show Steffek created a limited liability corporation and registered The Tea Party as a political party committee on May 18.
I hope this is a fifty state strategy.
