Truth is, we could never win a war on terrorism because
there will always be a terrorist. There is terrorism in the workplace with almost slave wages. There is terrorism with people dying from poverty here in America. There is
terrorism in the streets with gang fights and people
of all races and nationalites killing each other. There
is terrorism of PTSD and trauma from war that are supposed to be fighting terrorism. There are free health clinics and people going in droves because the rich not wanting to help the disabled and hurting.
CEO's drowning the workers in layoffs and
many not wanting to supply insurance. (Affordable Insurance). There are the rich suppressing the poor and getting richer and this is not terrorism? There are domestic terrorists like the Tmothy McVeighs and different hate groups.
We have a broken government who do not agree on anything and yet we are spending billions on two wars fighting so called terrorism. We can't allow a mosque in the land of the so called Free which clearly states in our constitution
Freedom of Religion. This is like labeling War on Drugs and then going out and giving big pharma all the ad time and pushing their legal drugs. There is no such thing as
an actual war on terrorism, IMO.
Rape, pillage, idealogy tearing up the country is all terrorism and it will take this country to it's knees when all said and done. 19 hijackers could not have taken this
country down but the people within the country bowing
to fear mongering and greed can and will.
When we the American people cannot find a way to feed our poor, heal our sick, educate our children or be a contributor to anything appealing for the way of life people want, then what are we protecting?
It is not about terror from the middle east, or terror from
people who hate America, (why is that anyway), it is not about the so called gays and lesbians, nor about the blacks or the browns. It is not about any of those things.
It is about a country gone mad over the almighty dollar in the form of black gold. It is about corporations and corruption of the leaders of this nations and very little about We the People. The terror is within. How do you fight that? Not with bombs and bullets. I have no doubt
there are people who hate America but not as much as the ones who are claiming patriotism and waving a flag and carrying a cross. I am a Christian but that is my choice.
I do not want to dictate to another how to believe.
Where is the courage in America? Fearmongering breeds cowards and bullies but rarely breeds courage.
Thanks for reading and I needed that rant !
