This may be the worst, certainly the craziest stump speech...ever! I've been saying for quite sometime that anybody who identifies themselves as a Republican or a Tea Bagger these days has some severe mental problems. As further proof, I offer the stump speech of Phil Davison....

Councilman Phil Davison of Minerva, Ohio made a fiery speech at the Stark County Republican Party's executive committee meeting to select a nominee to run for Stark County treasurer. The Republican Party has stumbled upon a recipe for success. The nuttier you are, the more electable you become.

Mr. Davison claims to have a Master's in communication. You be the judge.

'I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to.......'

Davison did not get the nomination (North Canton Finance Director Alex Zumbar did), but he certainly made a lasting impression.

Phil Davison is a perfect example of today's Republican party. He has severe anger issues, and thinks that yelling and screaming at everyone is the best way to get things done. This is exactly what happened during the summer recess of congress in 2009 when health care was the predominant issue. Nothing has changed. The faces and the lunacy remain the same...only the topics have changed. last year it was the health care reform bill, this year it's "the Muslims" are coming to get you meme. The Republican party has been hijacked by angry, intolerant, xenophobic, inarticulate, fear mongering and misinformed lunatics.
