Two "A"s and Not the Ones You Might Think

Asshole and amoral.  Thanks to Think Progress for letting us know that Eric Cantor is both an asshole and amoral.

   

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said Monday that if Congress passes an emergency spending bill to help Missouri’s tornado victims, the extra money will have to be cut from somewhere else.

    “If there is support for a supplemental, it would be accompanied by support for having pay-fors to that supplemental,” Mr. Cantor, Virginia Republican, told reporters at the Capitol. The term “pay-fors” is used by lawmakers to signal cuts or tax increases used to pay for new spending.

I don't usually write truly short diaries -- but this exhibition by a total sociapath warrants one because there is no need to go beyond his words and intent.

As most of us know, Joplin, MO was devastated this weekend.  We still don't have the full body count even as we have a number 119 (I may be behind the news).  Families have lost everything.  A hospital is devastated.  And this mofo wants to dicker about trade offs for sending much needed relief money.

I truly do not care what political persuasion anyone in Joplin is -- other than a few of their effing hypocritical political hacks.  These folks are getting aid from volunteer Americans -- nurses, doctors, EMTs, supplies, vehicles, etc.  No one asked who you voted for or who you hate.  No one asked for one goddammed penny for their volunteering.  

Eric Cantor -- pray to your false god that Virginia never has to negotiate with a gaping asshole for relief.  

Apologize for the rant but I'm furious.
