That really should be the full content of my diary...

I cannot imagine anyone else serving in the Office of the President of our United States at this time. In 2008 America got it right. I trust they will do so again in 2012.

In order to make the diary limits I offer the following points from tonight's speech.

Obama raised the issue "Can't we challenge some old assumptions about gun safety and mental health treatment?"

I'm actually glad it wasn't all glum, sad, and austere.

I will try myself to tone down some of my own rhetoric.

I too wish for a more Perfect Union.
