People are exercising their constitutional rights to assemble peacefully, and the corporatist goons continue to arrest them in a blatant violation of the U.S. Constitution.
Criminal banks continue to steal, and embezzle, and commit fraud, with the help of the bought off government. Fascist laws continue to be passed across the entire country, aimed at curtailing constitutional rights. Poverty spreads. The system is becoming more and more oppressive every passing day.
This criminal plutocratic system continues to flip a finger to the OWS. Do not give up. The time to escalate the protest nationwide is now! And tomorrow, and next week, and next month, until the plutocracy is defeated and the rule of law, and democracy is reestablished.
Some ideas of peaceful, legal, and constitutional pressure tactics against the criminal system...
Set up a think tank and establish revolutionary cells in key cities across the country. Think of creative ways of disrupting the system, and creating pressure (stop the machine). Key question: What is OWS leverage?
Coordinate actions across the country: In Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia. What type of actions? Put together a database of all the events and activities related to political fundraising (of both criminal political parties), conferences and meetings related to the financial industry, and large business organizations. Then do flash-mob (peaceful) protests at those events, constantly, noisy, non-stop, "all, day, all week, rise up and stop Wall Street greed."
Find out where the Plutocrats hang out, the exclusive and private clubs, the expensive $4,000 an night hotels, high-profile events, and do flash-mob (peaceful) protests there.
Assemble working groups or committees for direct action on labor, corruption, influence peddling. Then reach out to workers... For example, reach out the Wall Mart workers, and Target, and other big non-unionized labor forces, and encourage them to secretly submit information about labor abuses, corruption, discrimination, exploitation, influence peddling.
Reach out to financial industry workers and encourage them to secretly (and anonymously) provide information about wrongdoing, fraud, influence peddling.
Put together a sophisticated public relations (and propaganda) committee focused on counteracting the massive misinformation campaign now being launched by the entire MSM against OWS.
Take advantage of the fact that there are people in multiple cities across the U.S. rising up against the corruption, and become more focused and organized.
Other civil disobedience ideas... Market Street (and Powell), San Francisco, it's 4:00pm. All of the sudden 2,000 people show up, and block the entire downtown... No traffic moves; everything stops. By the time the police shows up, everybody disperses. Then they (the flash mob) appear at another major hub close by the next day. And you do it in Seattle, and Chicago, and Phoenix, and Orlando, and Santa Rosa. Every day, all week.
Do everything possible not to have one single person arrested by the corporatist goons. Every time one of them arrests a protester, and ties her hand behind her back, the system sends an ominous message. It says: "We can steal from you, oppress you, abuse you, enslave you, take your home based on fraudulent robo-signed documents, and if you dare to protest, we'll put our fascist boots on your necks, you'll get fire from your job, we'll arrest you, we'll beat you, we'll pepper-spray you in the face, we punch you straight on the face, we'll beat you with batons.
Do flash-mob (peaceful) protests at the exclusive zip codes in the country; at exclusive golf clubs, at the fanciest shopping districts. Coordinate with inner-city youths activists, and plan "field trips" of hundreds (if not thousands) of urban young people to protest at exclusive gated or very rich communities. Example, 200 inner-city kids do a flash-mob (peaceful protest) in Downtown Wallnut Creek, or Black Hawk, or Pacific Heights. Same in the East Coast; hundreds of urban youths protesting the The Hamptons.
Put together a committee to develop ideas related to sustainability, food collectives, communes, self-governance, security, in order to be prepared when the financial system collapses and the criminal regime tries to use the event as a "shock doctrine" in order to scare you, control you and oppress you. Share those ideas with committees across multiple cities.
These are just some humble suggestions to get people thinking... You have a lot of POWER.
What am I against? A criminal and parasitic cabal (plutocratic kleptocracy) that has taken over the government in order to use it as a mechanism to transfer wealth and power to the ruling elite, and plunge the population into serfdom.
What am I for? The ideal of America as a constitutional democracy; for the free market (properly regulated to prevent dangerous and criminal concentration of power); a strong social safety net; single-payer health care system. Reestablishment of the rule of law; prosecution of Wall Street criminals who committed massive fraud.
