Last night I posted a pic on the open thread that I thought was just pure genius.

I love "our side's" sense of humor. I mean face it, the right just can't compete. The right's answer to The Daily Show, was just embarrassing.

Anyway turns out the pic was part of a hilarious new Tumblr blog, The Pepper Spraying Cop. The intro reads:

Little did we know that Pepper Spraying Cop has cracked down on so many famous moments in history!! This Tumblr will help document the long pepper spraying arm of this officer of the law!

When you need a moment levity, surf over there and see the creativity there, lampooning the buffoon. They accept submissions and I was so inspired I cobbled some together quickly today. Mine after the fold, the blog is here.

On a serious note, like Rachel Maddow, I think the power of ridicule is great, and embrace this opportunity to make Lt. John Pike even more infamous.

His nonchalant expression seen over and over in these photos certainly stands in stark contrast to UC Davis and the police department's lie that he was acting out of fear for his personal safety, huh?

Update 4: Yeah, this was huge today. NBC news mentioned it and the Los Angeles Times lead their story with the oft-requested, "Last Supper."
