Talk about it here. Watch it live on ABC or desmoinesregister.com.
6:09 PM PT: Santorum gets the third question, from Megyn Kelley. Question is: given how much time you've spent in Iowa, shouldn't you have more support in the state? (Interesting that we have a softball question to one of the guys who Romney people want to suck support away from Gingrich.) Chris Wallace up next, asking Romney a question.
6:10 PM PT: Wallace's question to Romney (paraphrasing): Why are you more electable than Newt Gingrich? Romney's answer boils down to: "I spent my life in the private sector. ... I can debate President Obama based on that understanding."
6:12 PM PT: Now Bachmann gets an electability question. These are really the most boring questions on earth, and every poll I've seen says no more than one-third of Republicans think electability is most important. It's funny that Fox thinks it's self evident that electability is the top concern of voters—shows a very insidery mindset.
6:14 PM PT: Rick Perry hopes he's the Tim Tebow of the Iowa caucuses. Good luck with that.
6:15 PM PT: Jon Huntsman, the no labels candidate, says "I'm the consistent conservative" and then says "I'm not going to pander to anybody." (He forgets to say "except conservatives.")
6:16 PM PT: Rick Santorum just said "bottom up."
6:18 PM PT: Mitt Romney says he can work with Democrats. (True: when you want to pass a universal health care bill in your state, you're going to find a lot of Democrats who want to work with you.)
6:19 PM PT: Newt name drops Saul Alinsky. I think James O'Keefe just felt a tingle down below.
6:20 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): The liveblogging continues in the the next thread.
