Rachel asked for a tin foil hat last night. I've not only given her one, but she's ready to paint the town red AND prevent the CIA from invading her brain with this one!

Let's go on to "this day in history." On this date in 1803, the Louisiana Purchase was completed as the territory was formally transferred from France to the United States during ceremonies in New Orleans. After the ceremony, all ladies present were asked to drop their blouses in exchange for some lovely beads. ;D On this date in 1976, Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley died at age 74. He's been preserving disorder someplace else ever since!

On with The Rachel Maddow Show...
"Plandemonium" - Have y'all heard recently about the payroll tax cut holiday stuff? I think it's been in the papers & stuff. :) Instead of acting on the payroll tax cut holiday extension, Speaker Sobber decided there was time for a resolution for a Winston Churchill bust in the Capitol. ALL RIGHT! A different Speaker Sobber signed off on the deal over the weekend. Millionaires get food stamps? Huh?? OK Rachel, you're starting to lose me a little here. Do you have a point? OK...point reached, I think. The GOBP is seeking to dismantle long - standing safety nets by proposing legislation on problems that don't exist. GOT IT. PolitiFact said the lie of the year was the GOBP voted to end Medicare?! WOW! I guess my favorite Santa needs to visit them, too. ;D

Senator Charles Schumer's in studio to talk payroll tax holiday stuff. Up to 70 GOBP in the House would've probably voted with all the Dems to pass what the Senate passed over the weekend. More GOBP Senators have told Speaker Sobber to man up! I bet I can name a good number of the 10 Senators who voted against the plan over the weekend - Senator "Waterloo", Senator {insert retching noise here} Rand Paul, Senator the guy who beat Russ Feingold in WI, uh...hm...OH! - Senator Keebler Elf, too! I might have to find the actual roll call vote for the others & to see how correct or incorrect I was on the others. :)
"Income All Ye Faithful" - A lovely lady in Iowa City paid 17 local water bills in addition to her own. :D A woman in the Bay Area got a bag of avacados & a check for $10K! Lay - away accounts are also being paid off by complete strangers. People are actually giving more despite the craptacular economy, and we're #1 in a good area for once. :D 93 million Americans have the same amount of money as 6 members of the WallMart/Walton family. No income inequality, huh?! *&^%$#@! Carne Ross is talking income inequality as far as banking & other financial working groups. He wants to change the entire nature of the banking industry? GOOD LUCK, HONEY!
"The Jeb Bush Conspiracy Theory SOLVED" - It's a good thing I brought that tin foil hat! :) TurdBlossom said he wasn't pushing Jeb in NH, Jeb said he wasn't pushing Jeb in NH, and Americans Elect ain't pushing Jeb in NH. There's a place called Purple Strategies doing the NH stuff. O...K... Why? Doug Usher, a pollster with Purple Strategies, will help Rachel sleep better tonight. :) They asked about Jeb Bush in all 12 states they deem to be "swing states." Apparently, Jeb ain't the bright light of the GOBP many think he might be. He thinks a 3rd party candidate from "the right" is a real possibility; I think so, too. Yep, let's split that bat$hit MENSA vote! :D
