Message To White House

I sent the following message to the White House:

I am angry with the decision by HHS to ignore the FDA’s science-based approval of Plan B for women of all ages.

This decision was deeply disappointing from an administration that promised Americans it would follow science and sound medical information in making policy decisions.

I stand with the women and men who need access to affordable and accessible contraception, including emergency contraception, and not with the bishops and conservatives who want to remove all access to family planning services in the United States, and I wish the president would stand with me.

I am seeing far too many policy decisions and legislative actions falling in line with religious lobbies. I begin to wonder if article six and amendment one of the constitution have meaning any longer.

I put my life on the line, at great personal cost, to fight for our flag. Please do not let the cross come any where near our flag.
