Columbia, SC -- Just last week the South Carolina Democratic Party released a video sharing Nikki Haley's comments stating, "$12, $20 or $32 will not stop someone from being able to vote," referring to the cost of a birth certificate or driver's license. She went on to say that if anyone didn't have a ride to the DMV "she would drive them herself and take them to get their picture ID."
Well, the Democratic Party has once again found her in a lie. The Tucker and Cunningham family of Columbia, South Carolina called the Governor's office and requested assistance for their elderly cousin, Army veteran Robert Tucker. Instead of a helpful Governor they were faced with a Governor's office that was uninformed by Haley's promise and unable to assist in the request.
The South Carolina Democratic Party released the following video responding to her statements and Chairman Dick Harpootlian had this to say:
"Republican Nikki Haley has proved once again unable to tell the truth. Whether she is misstating her job record, her own employment record or lying to Army veterans like Robert Tucker, it's obvious she just doesn't have it in her to tell the truth. She would rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth."
