San Francisco's mayor and supervisors have failed in their civic duty... Why does this lawlessness continue? Why are there no arrests? Democracy and freedom come with responsibility. We've given over our streets to protest groups, and now we give them our transit system?
[A nice middle class lady], San Francisco
San Francisco Chronicle, Wednesday, August 17, 2011 - page A 11
The emphasis is mine... For its intent and purpose, the constitution has been shredded to pieces. The middle class is being dismantled piece by piece. The rich and powerful commit crimes with impunity and with the protection of bough off politicians. Public education is purposely dumbed down and defunded with the expressed (and conspiratorial) purpose of keeping people stupid so they can't think for themselves and figure out how they are being subjugated, exploited and enslaved.
An oppressive and fascist infrastructure (private for-profit prisons, gutting of constitutional protections, draconian laws that can ensnare a wide array of social activists, the media as a propaganda machine, etc.) has been put in place.
Extreme human rights abuses, including torture, are being committed against certain segments of the population, including "suspected" terrorists, "illegal" immigrants that are being rounded up like cattle and housed in fascist for-profit private prisons.
And the brutal, systematic, and relentless attack continues unabated. Union busting; millions of people being thrown on to the streets by criminal banks repossessing homes as the result of problems they (the banks and Wall Street criminals) helped to create in the first place. Poverty rates skyrocketing. Persistent and growing unemployment.
The social contract has been broken. Democracy is no more.
And in the middle of all this, and as these criminal thugs doing this to the good people of this country with the help and acquiescence of bought off politicians in both parties, there is an eerie passivity from most folks in the middle class.
There are many reasons for it.... Bread and circuses (as during Roman times); a powerful effect of the propagandist machine that is the mainstream media. And most of all, fear.
The sociopathic parasites that are doing this to you (and are easily identifiable) are doing this in a very sick and systematic way; segment by segment. Until they get to all of us! That's the way creeping fascism works. Look it up. Google it.
Think of ANARCHY as a alarm clock. A very effective one. When Anarchy arises is because is trying to shake people up out of their zombie-like stupor. It's a wake up call. It's a symptom. It's a manifestation of the concept of "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."
It tries to remind the dormant mind that has been intellectually enslaved and brainwashed into believing that you can be an island within a society. That you can ignore the plight of others, as long as it doesn't affect you. It tries to remind you that avarice, and selfishness, and cowardice, are all enemies of democracy.
It tries to remind you of the concept that "injustice against one is injustice for all." It tries to remind you of the concept that "where there is no justice, there is no peace."
And it reminds you that as always, as it has always been the case in the history of humanity, entrenched, corrupt, and exploitative power in the hands of the type of sociopathic criminal that makes for the ruling elites in oppressive regimes, is never relinquished without a mighty struggle. Never has. And it never will.
And when this Oligarchy, this Plutocracy, this class of criminals, is removed from power and the rule of law and democracy is restored, then the need for Anarchy rescinds. It goes into hibernation. But always ready to resurface, when the next way of fascist pigs threatens the country again. Always vigilant, as it must.
And Anarchy may shut down BART, and Wall Street, and Washington. And it may interfere with commerce, and business as usual, not because it wants to, but because it has to. Because is the way an oppressed people tells the ruling class that is time to stop the oppressive machine.
There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!
