Not a terribly interesting diary; another first diary, another boycotter.  

See y'all in a week, when I'll try to actually post some content here for the first time; I do, actually, have something I wrote for another context that I think this place would benefit from.

I'm boycotting in solidarity; as a white woman, I've noticed unchecked sexism here much more than racism.   And in one of those nasty little excursions into inequality, a voice spoke up for women.  That was Adept, and it was one of the few times (there have been others, but his was the only one I remember; perhaps it was better-worded, perhaps he just had more energy to keep on keeping on) that I've seen men on this site get our back.

So what else could I do than get BlackKos's back.   To join me (well, it's past 12AM, but those of us who tend to read on weekdays are just seeing this):

Please support the boycott  

You can support the boycott by

1) participating (log of at by 12AM local time for a week)
2) Write a short diary explaining why and post it between now and midnight local time
3) recommend boycott diaries as they pop up in your recent list

And if you're wondering what this whole thing is about -- look at the boycott tag, and go back a bit. Some of them are like this one -- just an "I'm in" and little information.  But there are plenty that explain it.
