Elizabeth Warren, Paul Krugman, and Alan Grayson are despised and hated by the fascistic Right in the U.S. (i.e., the current Republican party and their corporatist owners). Why? Because they are high-profile individuals who speak the truth in a very clear and concise manner. And therefore they are very dangerous to the plans of the tiny ruling elite that is now consolidating power in the U.S. as they turn the country into a plutocratic banana republic, with a tinge of fascism.
And you will notice that these truly exemplary citizens and true patriots speak the truth with conviction, and without fear. And most importantly, the truth they speak points to one single source of evil in this country: how the monied ruling elite, through their control of the main levers of power (bought-off politicians, the media, Wall Street and the banks) is purposely engaging in activities designed to manipulate, exploit, subjugate and enslave the population.
Ms. Warren explains in very clear language how Wall Street, the banks and large financial institutions are ripping off people. Mr. Krugman talks about the same economic issues as Ms. Warren, but he also is not afraid to state the obvious about the legacy of 9/11: That its memory will be forever marred by how a group of very disgusting individuals, like rabid hyaenas, took advantage of the situation in order to enrich themselves and their friends.
And Alan Grayson speaks in very clear language about the control the parasitic ruling class has on our government officials, especially the hate-filled sadists that are the Republican politicians. So first you are taken down a notch (in the economic ladder) by a carefully-designed plot to destroy the middle class, and then, once you don't have health insurance, he points out the obvious truth about what the Republicans want: First don't get sick, but if you do, then die quickly.
Language is everything. Being able to break through the noise machine that is the entire media landscape in the U.S. is priceless. And these three true American heroes are able to do that, and hence, they are demonized by the Right, and are left unprotected by the cowardly Democratic party establishment.
I refuse to throw in the towel and accept defeat. Good can and will overcome evil, but it can't happen without a massive awakening by the population.
What needs to be done is clear--as the day; as water: Remove the corporatist choke-hold corporations have on our government; implement a proper regulatory framework so corporations can't loot the country and exploit the population (that's what regulations are all about); break up too-big-to-fail financial institution; prosecute crimes committed by the rich and powerful.
Let's do these things, and we'll be able to ensure that everybody in this country has a real chance at living in dignity, earning a living wage, under a government that's not beholden to influence peddling by the neo-fascist ruling elite.
Awaken, and unite against a common enemy, and let's support those who speak truth to power.
