Proof of the real life hunger games in the GOP led Class Warfare against the American working class!!

Here's an honest question for anyone who hasn't seen the movie the Hunger Games which is set in a fictitious post-apocalyptic America which have been gerrymandered into 12 districts, wherein people are forced into a gladiatorial type reality TV game to fight to the death as a source of profit and entertainment for an elite American 1% type ruling class who are residents of an opulent American capital city. The elites allow for the survival of only a few winners from a district of the former area known as Appalachia, (renamed District 12), wherein American working class coal mining families are allowed to eek out a stark, bare bones, grey Orwellian type subsistence by the new American underclass in the area formally known as Appalachia.
(For anyone who can't watch the video below, please note the depraved decadence of the champagne sucking, smarmy Wall Street surrogates of the Plutocracy, purged on top of Roman pillar type architecture reminiscent of the Circus Maximus near the ancient Roman forum looking down with great amusement at the 99 percenters struggling masses below in the ultimate reality TV spectacle in America's 2012 real life hunger games).
To which one might ask why would working class Americans be prepared to struggle when the odds are so stacked against them, wherein the plutocracy is allowed to keep the lid on by creating a handful of a few lottery winners, wherein the odds of anyone ever winning big are ridiculously small. The answer in a clear case where art imitates life can be found in the trailer of the theatrical release of the Hunger Games inserted below, where a message can be summed up in aggregate in a single word which is hope!!!
In a case where life imitates art in what has become the election 2012 ultimate American reality TV show, which is playing itself out on American airwaves for the seeming entertainment and profit of the 1 percenters and their champagne sucking, smarmy smiling Wall Street surrogates. We see a posture wherein the proud American working class are left to fight over what amounts to scraps of the economic pie, wherein even the most basic necessities aren't able to be met. So it is that 59 million Americans don't have medical insurance; 132 million don't have dental; and 45 million living in hunger are forced to use food stamps. By contrast in the E.U. no one has to use food stamps and there are no medical uninsured populations.

The expression of this international badge of shame by the plutocracy and their Wall Street champagne sipping surrogates can be found in the graphics below, wherein this national tragedy plays itself out as America has become arguably the least upwardly mobile major industrialized society of any country on earth. Where the words of the late George Carlin, they call it the American dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it. In a clear posture where only comedians can be allowed to tell the truth and still keep their jobs, just as was the case during the bleak existence of the Dark Ages, where only the court jester was allowed to speak truth to power and still keep their head!
So it is that viewership of fake news programs such as the Daily Show by Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report have exploded with America's youth, which are substantially targeted in the real life hunger games, where they are starved and find themselves permanently indebted drowning in student loan debt, while living in the basements of their parents' homes, which are drowning in underwater mortgages. (No wonder Bill Maher's satire has become a household name). Wherein the plutocrat owned American media talking heads are viewed as the garish, vulgar mouthpiece of a distorted reality who even the cynical refuse to trust on the mean streets of the American hunger games, where working class casualties are all true tragically real.

More stats on America's hunger games!

What has happened to the American dream when we are the least upwardly mobile
developed nations on earth?

As an American expat living in the European Union, everyone I see all day, everyday has cradle to grave medical insurance as a human right, to which I note the European Union has a larger population than does the U.S., where they spend about 9% of GNP and cover 100% of the population whereas in America they spend about 16% of GNP and don't cover 59 million people.
Please let's remember that in America any working class American who ever becomes sick or injured or any of their family members can become permanently financially bankrupted, or with no notice they can simply change the rules on you at any time with no notice, and double or triple the interest rates on your mortgage and other debts. They can also decide through no fault of your own steal or most of your pension savings, as we saw in 2008. Therefore solidarity amongst working class Americans becomes paramount.
To win in America all we have to do is to care about each other & stick together!
If we are looking for change we must look to the Occupy movement to provide that peaceful nonviolent approach to change in helping to elect better progressive politicians to public office. The Occupy movement and the American unions are the last great hope of the American working class dream!!
