Allen West, representative black Republican?
Let the crazy train just keep on
chugging along.
TAMPA, Fla.— Congressman Allen West told a group of black Republicans gathered for the party's national convention Wednesday that Democrats are racist and the media doesn't call them on it.
West said Democrats have gotten away with attacking black conservatives. He then turned to the two reporters covering the event and said he had a challenge for them.
"Tell the story. You guys allow the other side to attack black conservatives, and you don't call them out," West said. "That's the most racist party I've ever seen in my life and you don't call them out."
Once again, West's paranoid delusions of victimhood pretty much don't leave anything to say. Other than that's one big old load of crazy. By the way, there were about 50 attendees at this gathering of black Republicans at the convention. Out of the roughly 50,000 attending the GOP convention. Wonder if any of them have been
pelted by peanuts this week. Or if they were
surveyed by the Washington Post about why they think most black voters support Democratic candidates.
West's likely to be increasingly unhinged (I know, how can you possibly tell the difference?) as the election wears on, because his challenger, Democrat Patrick Murphy, is making this a real race. Murphy has a narrow edge over West in the latest poll released by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. That's with West's huge, tea party infused war chest. In order to keep that money flowing in, he's going to have to keep on saying even wilder shit.
It's going to be an entertaining few months in Florida, in which West is going to crazy talk himself right out of office.
Let's see what we can make West say next. Please donate $3 to Patrick Murphy on ActBlue.
