Ahhhh...Florida. The place for sand, cool gentle breezes, beautiful sunsets, unbelievable sunrises, warm weather and come August ....THEM. The Republican National Convention will take place in Tampa, Florida. Scenes started flashing through my head. BP Oil disaster, Rick Scott, then something scarier.. THEM. The Tea partiers,from every single state. The obstructionists..from every single state. The one percenters...From every single state. I then thought of Occupy Tampa. My thoughts immediately went to NY and Oakland PD as I thought of the wierd ones of the right wing who label themselves The Take America Back Bunch. Scenes of Chicago 68 entered my mind. Hanging Chads entered my mind. I suddenly found myself a little scared.
They will be all around. Why did they not pick the panhandle? Why Tampa? Why so close to my home dwellings....( Even if it is only 57 miles, still too close to THEM)

Now anyone with a lick of common sense will know this convention will not be like any other. Never has there been a movement like Occupy. Never has there been this much blood in the water with unemployment and foreclosures up VERY high in Florida.
Never have we been in such an economic state since the Great Depression. This thing should scare anyone who holds a convention for THEM in any state but Florida has a very diverse mix of culture and politics.

If you have never been to Tampa, let me assure you, it is small in comparison to Atlanta, San Francisco, New York, or even Dallas ...Shoot it is smaller than Ft. Worth.
I am a bit concerned with how they project, what might happen and then it get blamed on Floridian dems. Every evildoer in that party will descend to the Gulf. Money for the area? I doubt it. Republicans for the most part are not big on tipping and they will not be picking up souveneirs of sea shells . Restaurants may get some business but rich people usually will just hit their own rich buddies establishments, so there goes that idea. Why Tampa? Oh well..I am just wondering how this will affect all the good occupiers and regular folks who may get siezed and searched for going to the 7-11. I expect since most Republicans are cowards, they will venture out in
droves to other areas and we will all be Mic checking everyone from Mitt Romney to Donald Trump. THEM is coming to Florida. I am sure it will be televised.
