And no, that has absolutely nothing to do with the shows tonight. Jon's got Liam Neeson, promoting a movie that doesn't open until next Friday (the 27th). So RottenTomatoes doesn't have much to say about The Grey at the moment, other than this synopsis:
Every day is eagle watching day at Oklahoma's Grey Snow Eagle House
Bryan Painter: The eagle rehabilitation program at Grey Snow Eagle House near Perkins, OK, is operated by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma.
Eagles are known for their regal looks, powerful talons and keen vision.
If you ask Victor Roubidoux, wildlife manager for the Grey Snow Eagle House near Perkins, they also know when the clock strikes 10 minutes past 5 p.m.
That's when the staff of the eagle rehabilitation program, operated by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, often head home. And that's when the eagle party starts.
“All day long, they'll just sit because we're here and they know when we leave at 10 after 5,” Roubidoux said, adding that there are cameras in each of the various flight cages and mews. “When we leave, they'll get down and they'll be crunching the green two-liter bottles. We have tennis balls in there, they'll be playing with those. Some put one under each talon and walk on them.
“They'll do all that when they know we're not here. Just like a bunch of kids, when the parents are gone, they're out playing.”
...After watching their behaviors, Roubidoux got wise to the eagles' ways. He realized they could hear his pickup pulling up in the morning. So, he left his truck down at the gate and walked up, very quietly entered the front of the building and looked through the window into the flight cage that is 18 feet tall, 25 feet wide and 100 feet long.
The eagles were playing and moving around.
So he slammed one of the cabinet doors.
“By the time I get back to the window, everybody's back on their perch, like ‘He's back,'” Roubidoux said. ...
They're on
