What I would say to West and I am Julia Sugarbaker IRL

There are reasons I do not run for public office. I do not have the patience, nor the
tact to take on ignorant,stupid people. I have a little bit, of shall we say, opionated,
outspoken, attitude about myself that just flys off at anyone who is breathing when their ignorance gets in my face and comfort zone, In 2010 the Georgia Democratic Committee approached me to run for my district in Georgia against a local state legislator. I was approached twice and they had me ready to be on the ballot once I paid the registration filing fees. I explained that I did not have the funds to do such and bless my southern soul if that was arranged as well by some one who wanted to sponsor me as a candidate. I mulled it over and thought about my soon to be constiuents if elected which was about as possible as a bat becoming a seeing eye companion. I thought of my time away from my advocacy, family and the pitiful pay that a Ga legislator makes. I also considered my blood pressure and the amount I take that would probably have to be doubled. I also thought that I was a bit too old to take a course in Dale Carnegie and after seeing West down here in Florida, I just thought of slapping that man silly. Please jump below the squiggly fold

For those who know me, know well and good that my character, and personality is almost identical to the character of Julia Sugarbaker.
My husband has compared me to her more than maybe 100 times and this is why I do not enter politics but times like now, I would love to have the opportunity to go after this doofus as the character from Designing Women did in this episode. It is times like these that I do think I shall let Julia make us feel good. I may get angry enough to put my own two cents on U tube but in the meantime...Just watch Miss Julia and this is how I would have handled Mr. West. See, the talking points have not changed, not the ignorance, just not enough people standing up to this kind of narrow minded phoney balogny, red meat hatchet politician,

and proof....I am a real liberal that speaks up.
I encourage all to do so..it feels so good. All of this Florida election hoopla just took me back to this time

Me.... I have a question for Katherine Harris...Did you get an opportunity to speak to the Iraqi women and encourage them to follow you lead to go into public office, so they too
could disenfranchise voters.

Me...and yes that was me getting the opportunity of a lifetimevia phone to put Katy on the spot in 03. The conservative nuts will continue to reak of insanity until we challenge them or at least that is what Julia and me thought. I know Dixe Carter was a republican but me, I am a registered liberal democrat and speak up and out every chance I get to ANYBODY...
