Honorable Senator Paul: Given the mental Mt. Everest that was your predecessor in office, I can imagine you grow weary of operating in Mr. Bunning's massive shadow. It came as no surprise, then, when your reaction cut through all the partisan rhetoric--the rabid right decrying the failure of the court to recognize how wrong the ACA is and the loony left celebrating a brief sojourn of the Roberts court into rationality--and went straight to the heart of the matter: it doesn't matter what the SCOTUS rules! I (we? who?) know that it's unconstitutional! You so have me wishing I had voted for you instead of the competent, sane individual. Someone with an ophthalmologist's (sp?) license and a pair of brass cojones the size of beach balls trumps a JD and a few hundred cases ruled ANYDAY.
In summary, way to make a Kentucky legislator look like that brother-in-law at the 4th of July picnic who, no matter what you're talking about, not only knows more than you know, but can tell you what you know is wrong (even if he didn't hear it). Thanks for your continued earnest if woefully misguided service to the Commonwealth--you make the Honorable Mitch McConnell look good, no mean feat. Yours,
