I often read far right wing sites like Fox Nation. This morning when I first looked at Fox Nation their top story was titled Murdered for Sport: Where Are Sharpton, Jackson and Obama in Oklahoma Thrill Kill? which struck me as incongrous since the suspects photos were in the piece and they showed that two suspects were balck ond one was white or racialy mixed. Why would Fox be calling out Sharpton and Jackson if this wasn't a black on white crime?
Then I returned to the Fox Nation site a few minutes later and was shocked to find that the first set of photos had been replaced different photos and the new PHOTO showed a different person as one of the suspects, now all three were black men! Fox Nation had changed one of the suspects race to inflame racial resentments among Fox Nation's already prejudiced readership.
This is even more outrageous than Fox News' little trick of misidentifying Republicans as Democrats when a Republican does something embarrassing. This is deliberately changing the facts presented to demonize black people!
Fox Nation's blatant racism is vile and disgusting beyond words.
UPDATE: Many news sources also used the inaccurate photo yesterday when the story first broke, and updated the photo later yesterday when the mistake was discovered. Fox Nation's piece went up this morning and it originally had the accurate photo, before changing it to the photo known to be inaccurate.
