My Conversion

This will serve as my first diary on this site.

I don't write much, ever. But I thought I'd share.

At one point in time, I was a GOP supporting, marriage equality hating, rabid pro-lifer.

That began to unravel, mostly, when I actually met LGBT people, and realized they're not all that different from a non-LGBT person.

Also, when my state's governor, Bobby Jindal, began his crusade with school vouchers. You just don't use public money for private schools, I believe.

On reproductive rights, I have become more pro-choice due to watching Texas and Wendy Davis' filibuster.
