It's fundraising season, by which I mean a month in a year with numbers in it, and so House Republicans are sending out their usual frothing letters. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA 5th District) appears to be exceptionally frothy these days:

“This is a Democrat [sic] party that has no interest in working with Republicans — one that’s openly hostile to American values and the Constitution,” said McMorris Rodgers, a member of the House Republican Leadership.
McMorris Rodgers did not identify which “American values” to which her Democratic colleagues, including eight in the Washington delegation, are hostile.

Sure she did. The president keeps doing things, and the Democrats keep not working with the Republic Party to do other things. Which is un-American because Cathy McMorris Rodgers says so.

“Just look at President Obama’s actions on Obamacare and immigration — he has been using unprecedented executive power to rule by decree: The Left will stop at nothing to achieve their goals,” added McMorris Rodgers.

Oh, definitely. The way the president delayed something instead of bowing to Republican demands to delay something else, that's, um, tyranny and stuff. And to think we were worked up about little stupid things like torturing people and promoting faked evidence to justify wars and signing statements that officially declared White Houses did not have to follow any American laws they didn't like so long as they had a lawyer who told them they didn't have to. President Obama delayed a thing.
