I'd like to remind people the Opening Round of the 2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament kicks off next Tuesday the 19th and I'm not at all sure I'll be able to cover the way I'd like to.
Of course volunteers can step forward for any date, as you should know by now my authorship of these fill-ins and substitutes isn't ego driven. I do it because it's mostly pretty easy and relaxing to write and I enjoy the atmosphere.
Tonight The Daily Show is from 3/6 and the guest is Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Al Madrigal has a piece on Puerto Rican statehood that's pretty funny and everyone liked the new intro. Jon talked about Rand Paul's filibuster and another day of inactivty in Congress, which is about the best you can hope for any more.
Tyson's interview went 3 segments on the web. I've given up on trying to embed so I'll link here and here and here.
Tomorrow he will have R.J. Cutler from 2/27, and Thursday Alison Brie from 2/19.
The Colbert Report is from 3/4 with Stephen hosting Kirk Bloodsworth. The most memorable part for me was The Enemy Within, about scallop testicles.
