If you’re KABC drive-time right-wing talk radio host Larry Elder, the self-proclaimed “Sage of South Central,” what are your biggest concerns? Apparently, it’s “chemtrails,” “Bilderbergers,” and that greatest of all threats to our way of life, flu shots.
Yes, this man is on KABC.
For those of you not familiar with the “chemtrails” conspiracy theory, it’s a fairytale of the far-right in which a malevolent force (usually “the Jews”) are spraying nasty white-race-killing chemicals over our homes, because...uh...because...um...because WHY NOT, that’s why. They’re Jews. Don’t ask questions; just watch Alex Jones.
And the Bilderberger conspiracy theory? This is another fantasy of the far-right. It was popularized in the 1980s by Holocaust denier Willis Carto, founder of the Institute for Historical Review, a Holocaust denial “think tank.” The Bilderberg theory revolves around a cabal of (you guessed it) Jews! who are secretly ruling the world and planning to kill everyone else (because, again, WHY NOT?).
And how are they killing us?
FLU SHOTS! Yep, flu shots are nothing more than earthbound chemtrails, administered to the elderly by world-ruling Rothschild Bilderbergers in order to commit genocide (why would the genocidal Bilderbergers target people already in their twilight years? Because WHY NOT, that’s why).
Of course, I’m being sarcastic. But KABC host Larry Elder apparently takes this stuff totally seriously. Yesterday (Sunday, July 20th), Elder – on his verified Facebook page, his verified Twitter account, and his website – sent out a clarion call stating dramatically that “it’s about time” (followed by SIX exclamation marks, so you KNOW he means business) that the American “sleeping giant” wakes up to the threat of chemtrails, Bilderbergers, flu shots, and “false flag events.”
Elder posted a “political cartoon” by well-known conspiracy nut Ben Garrison, proponent of all manner of far-right conspiracy theories, in which a giant white man with an automatic weapon (representing America) is waking up (Gulliver’s Travels-style) to the threat of Bilderbergers, chemtrails, flu shot conspiracies, and false flag events (to Garrison, “false flag event” means the Sandy Hook shooting, which apparently Obama planned in order to “grab our guns”).
The scope of the waking white giant's rifle is, of course, pointed directly at President Obama’s head.

One has to wonder if KABC in L.A. is okay with their main drive-time host enthusiastically spreading such nonsense. Anti-Semitic conspiracy theories are bad enough, but spreading pseudo-scientific anti-vaccination drivel can actually lead to people dying (especially in low-income and minority communities, where people are especially at risk from the repercussions of anti-vaccination pap).
This is not a free speech issue. Larry Elder has every right to spread Bilderberg/chemtrail/flu shot nonsense all he likes. But KABC has no obligation to support him in those endeavors. Elder’s pivot to outright conspiracy theory madness might have something to do with the fact that his last book was rejected by respectable publishers like St. Martin’s. He was forced to go with the Obama birth certificate denial loony-bin that is “World Net Daily.”
So of course warning your followers about Bilderbergers, chemtrails, and flu shots is the logical next step.
