We Want Debates Debbie Wasserman-Schultz!

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz speech at the 2015 New Hampshire Democratic State Convention was interrupted today as chants of "we want debates" rained down from the audience. The crowd (like many of the rest us) seems pretty fed up with the DNC chairwoman's refusal to budge on our miserable debate schedule and they weren't afraid to let her know about it. Good for them.

At one point in the video you can hear Debbie cluelessly ask the crowd, "what's more important? Drawing a contrast with Republicans or arguing about debates?" She seems to miss the point that having the Democratic candidates debate would be the best way to draw contrast with the Republicans. Instead for reasons only known to herself she remains defiant in the face of reason.

It's truly unbelievable that was she was able to keep her position as DNC chairwoman after the 2014 midterm bloodbath. And this strange and counter-productive refusal to modify the debate schedule is just bizarre. Of all the idiotic stances to remain steadfast on. .

You keep on keeping on Debbie!
