Bernie sees the real threat: Climate Change

In service to their masters in the 1%, American politicians have long played the game of punching us in our lizard brains with the enormous and terrifying threats that lurk in every shadow. Commies! Terrorists! The Chinese! It's a tired and cynical old game and I'm hoping it's finally lost its efficacy.

As long as they can keep us cowering from the unseen and the unknown, they can bend us to their will. It's all about excusing their despicable war profiteering and economic exploitation while conveniently keeping the common people killing each other so that we won't realize where the real threat lies.

During the recent Democratic debate, Bernie revealed a great truth when he identified climate change as the single greatest threat facing our nation. I thought that was a home run, and distinguished him perfectly from those who want to scaremonger and wave 'enemies' at us. Bernie sees the real threat. Smart people are going to see that. Let's hope there are enough of us. I'm betting there are.

"I agree with Senator Sanders."

‪I'm not saying Bernie won, but virtually everyone else is.
