Karl Peterjohn began his remarks saying he wasn’t planning on being politically correct. Over the next few minutes, he proved that to the audience, citing “Muslim atrocities” making no distinction between ISIS/ISIL and Islam, along with a slide show highlighting violent crimes by individuals named Muhammad.
Peterjohn continued his rant regarding Islam by noting that:
"The enemy is not at our gates. The Islamist threat in this country is inside our gates," he said. "Someone said, 'Well, these are random acts.' Well, sorry, these are not random acts."

"Unlike the president my father was Christian, not Muslim, did not have a Muslim stepfather or was education at a Muslim school overseas," Peterjohn said.
Wichita has an unfortunate history of relations with Islamic organizations, who first found root in the city in the mid 1970s. In 2011, an Islamic mosque in the city fell victim to an attempted arson, and cited continual harassment and continual threats.

“It’s devastating to see something like that, or see somebody even try to do something like that, “ he said.
Jibril said the anti-Islam letters appeared to have been sent by the same person because they contained the same types of pictures and same handwriting. Among the messages: “I don’t need to know anything else about you but 9/11”, Jibril said.
The words spoken in tonight’s county commission meeting are eerily similar in idea, even if the come from a different voice.
