Now that Jeb!'s been in single digits since mid-August, his gazillion-dollar Super PAC is getting aggressive with an ad questioning the experience of his rivals. It's a take on Hillary Clinton's 3 AM phone call ad from 2008 and directed at everyone who's stealing Jeb!'s race out from under him: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Ed O'Keefe reports:
Using footage of the Oval Office, an announcer asks, "When the attacks come here, the person behind this desk will have to protect your family. Will he be impulsive and reckless like Donald Trump? Will he have voted to dramatically weaken counter-terrorism surveillance like Ted Cruz? Will he have skipped crucial national security hearings and votes just to campaign, like Marco Rubio?"
"Jeb has the experience and knowledge to protect your family," the announcer ads.
The ad will air in the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. But whether it even matters is still in question—Right to Rise has already dropped $24 million on ads touting Bush's record in three of those states and it didn't make a lick of difference. His numbers just keep dropping like a box of rocks.
