Rightwingwatch put up a pretty sweet Pat Robertson video today. Pat begins by waxing poetic:
Robertson: The internet is a marvel of the world.
I have to say, at this point, I'm fully on board with Pat. The guy is passionate about the phenomenon of the internet. Good on you! He starts drifting here into strange waters, talking about how it's given us more options as "consumers" and helped start new "businesses." You would think he might talk about how it's given more people access to information and allowed people from different communities and cultures everywhere to interact. Maybe even throw in a thing about how God wanted us to all speak the same language, before towers and pride and hubris and babel.
Robertson: Now they're going to treat it like it's a water company.
Is there some famous problem with water companies I missed?
Robertson: The Obama people, you don't understand ladies and gentlemen, until you realize, the socialist agenda is to take control of everything...
At this point, Pat Robertson is so crazy that you don't hear screeching of tires when he goes off the rails—you just hear a light breeze, as Pat left our earthly plane decades ago. The full attack on sense and sensibility can be found below the fold.
