What do we want our nomination process to look like?

This is a serious question. I know there are passionate people in our party. I also know that we can get fractious, holier than thou, smarter than you, know better cause I bin there, and all the rest of it. I want a strong party united behind however we nominate. I also do not want anyone preordained for anything without a full on hearing of both candidates and what their stances are.

I know for sure what I do not want. Anything like the ongoing disaster that resembles survivor reality tv with pie fights between factions, holocaust references and who shouts the loudest contests. I don't want exercises in stupidity, shark jumping, trump jumping, jump trumping, dissing, digressing, pissing, moaning, shitting, groaning and all those circus barkers telling us what to think that is the republican party.
What do you want to see coming out as the democratic national platform? How many debates do you want? What kind of plans do you wish to see? No Bernie this or Hillary that. What do you want to see, hear, know from the candidates?
I'm not polling or trolling. I want to know what you think and feel and the reasons why you do. Pitch in or not as you individually see fit. Agree or disagree with each other as you see fit, politely please. AS they say, the floor is now collectively yours.
