Poll: Most Republicans mortified by their party's 2016 presidential race

What's not to love?

Fully 60 percent of GOP voters said they were "embarrassed" by their party's presidential campaign, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. They also largely see their party as "divided," with 88 percent of Republicans sharing that view while only 33 percent of Democrats do.

Hmm … something about that chart doesn’t look like a recipe for Republican turnout—at least not in terms of votes for Republican candidates.
