So, sitting in a burger joint in Lewiston, Idaho, after a great raft trip on the Lower Salmon. The olympics on the big screen overhead behind me. Lo and behold, a Hillary Clinton ad! I missed it, but my friends sitting across from me saw it, musta been a 30-second spot.

but aired in Idaho! Yes, it's just across the river from Clarkson, WA, but that is also deep red, Cathy McMorris Rogers’ district (go, Joe Patookas!).

Now that's a 50-state strategy!
