Let’s see if the Apprentice producers put their money where their mouth is.
UPDATE: Clinton backer and Media Matters founder David Brock told BuzzFeed in an email that he will pay for the Apprentice leakers’ legal fees.
“If a $5 million ‘leak fee’ is what stands between truth and total Trump implosion, sign me up,” Brock said.
Producer: There’s video of Trump saying the N-word but it’ll cost $5 million to get it
An award-winning TV producer said on Sunday that producers from Republican nominee Donald Trump’s reality show The Apprentice are in possession of video that shows Trump using the racial slur “ni**er.”
Jezebel’s The Slot reported Sunday that producer Chris Nee said on Twitter that the video is sitting behind a legal wall. Apprentice personnel all face a $5 million legal penalty for leaking footage from the show as per their contracts.
Nee directed her tweets at billionaire Mark Cuban, who has been doggedly criticizing Trump throughout his campaign for president.
@mcuban the price is 5 million to cover the penalty fee. And we all get to hear him use the N word from what I hear https://t.co/IsmJvHHL1K
