You gotta believe that no one is enjoying the "Final Meltdown" of Donald Trump's disastrous presidential bid more than President Obama, the man Trump shouted epithets at from the nosebleed seats of politics for five years. Now that Trump's finally in the ring himself, turns out he doesn't have what it takes. Not even close. In fact, he's likely gonna rack up a loss of epic proportions. And who can fault Obama for being amused? Here's a snippet of the president at a Tuesday rally in Greensboro, North Carolina. David Nakamura writes:
Obama seemed to revel in his ridicule of the Republican nominee, mocking Trump for his loss of nearly $1 billion, his refusal to release his tax returns and his lewd comments about women.
“The guy says stuff nobody would find tolerable if they were applying for a job at 7-Eleven,” Obama said during a lengthy speech to a crowd of 7,700 at an outdoor amphitheater. “I also know a lot of casino operators who managed not to lose $1 billion in a year. They say the house always wins. I don’t know what happened.”
The president also took issue with being tagged a "demon" by right-wing fanatic Alex Jones.
Obama then hunched over, took a big whiff of his wrist and tried his best to detect any sulfur residue, before telling the crowd know how he really felt about the theory.
“Now, I mean, come on, people!” Obama exclaimed.
By the way, keep your eyes on North Carolina, folks. Democrats are working it, big league.
