It is not even close no matter what CNN and MSNBC would have you believe

On CNN the crawl reads: “NEW NATIONAL POLL SHOWS RACE TIGHTENING.” On MSNBC: “NEW POLL CLINTON’S LEAD SHRINKS TO 3 POINTS.” Back over on CNN: “CLINTON LEAD SHRINKS IN NEW NATIONAL POLLING.”

But this simply is not true. Clinton today leads by a 5.7 percentage point average in all the polls, and that lead is actually increasing. This graph shows the Real Clear Politics poll average over this last last week. The blue part on the bottom shows the spread, and as you can clearly see her lead is getting bigger, from 5.1% to 5.7%

A 0.6% increase in Clinton’s already huge lead is actually a real story. Yet, the cable news media cherry picks the polls to create a false narrative for a Trump come from behind story. Enough!
