Just two days ago, the tallies of our 2016 presidential election saw Hillary Clinton’s popular vote lead move up to 1.7 million votes. As of this diary, Hillary Clinton has 64,225,863 votes while Donald Trump has 62,210,612. Counting on my fingers that means that Hillary Clinton is winning the popular vote by 2,015,251. This means that of all the people who voted in this year’s election, there are over two million more that would rather see Hillary Clinton take office in January than this white supremacist with weird hair. Jim Tankersley has put together some easy to understand economics.
Campaign Action
Whereas, many early projections had Clinton receiving around 2 million of the popular vote, now projections have Clinton ending up with almost two and a half million more votes than the Donald.
