Despite Joe and Mika fawning over Trump this morning (the 8 am hour spent zero minutes on Hillary’s victories), his raw vote totals actually trailed Bernie in Maryland, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Of course, Hillary’s raw vote totals smashed Trump in all five states. Comparing her raw vote with Trump’s, she had 56.5% of the total compared to his 43.5%. In Pa, the only one of the five that is arguably competitive in presidential elections, the combined Democratic vote totals exceeded the combined Republican totals by 100,000. So much for the meme that Republican turnout outstrips the Democrats in this election cycle.
