It’s been years since I’ve written a diary. David Cay Johnston has been writing about tax havens and tax evasion for decades. He’s written about the Panama Papers, which he says is basically a tale of “money porn” that puts names to the people hiding money around the world and one law firm who helps them do it. He calls them “one room” in what would otherwise be “a mansion” of this type of activity. He says the problem is congress and parliament. He doesn’t mention trade agreements.
