The National Rifle Association (NRA) just launched a major attack against Ted.
Here’s the mailer that the NRA is stuffing in mailboxes all across Ohio:
Let me make one thing crystal clear: Ted is not going to apologize for standing with President Obama to protect our communities and he’s not going to let big money special interests intimidate his campaign. We truly hope the NRA -- and all the big special interests backing Portman -- hears the message loud and clear.
But if we’re going to respond to this NRA attack, it’s going to take all of us. We need at least 1,000 supporters to step up right now to show the NRA and Rob Portman’s other special interest friends the strength of our movement. Will you please help?

Like many Americans, Ted -- and everyone on this campaign -- is truly troubled and saddened by the escalation of violence in this country. Something must be done to keep weapons out of the hands of people who would do harm. Something must be done to send big money special interests like the NRA a message.
