Morning or evening, Joy Reid skewers Trump’s surrogates, but why do they keep going on her show?

I’d venture a guess that most of those reading this are regular MSNBC viewers. No doubt you have your favorites. Who doesn’t admire Rachel? She’s been my hero. Still is. She’s so well known we rarely even use her last name. Now, having proven her mettle and then some, Joy Reid has become my co-hero.

Joy Reid is proving herself to be the best counter-puncher of all her heavyweight MSNBC colleagues. She does it not with boxing gloves, but with a velvet fist.

Last night she had some hapless Trump surrogate reduced to near incomprehensible gibberish as she was relentless in insisting he stop spewing his attacks on Hillary and answer her questions about Trump.

.

She did it again this morning with another inept surrogate. She’s done this with every miserable excuse for a surrogate she’s interviewed. 

.

She has an effective retort to surrogates who criticize, even attack, her for not answering their questions (usually about Hillary): “I’m interviewing you, you’re here to answer my questions.”

.

Joy has mastered the art of talking over her Trumpian guests as they mouth talking points by rote without seeming rude or cutting their microphones. I’m sure the audio engineers could even turn the volume down on the guest’s microphones, but they don’t.

My question is why do Trump surrogates keep agreeing to appear on her show? Why, in fact, don’t they all just write off MSNBC entirely? After all, virtually all viewers are Democrats and would only vote for Trump if his thuggish minions were holding their children hostage.

Any ideas?
