Received this e-mail today from Secretary of State Jason Kander’s (D. MO) U.S. Senate campaign:
A new poll just came out that you need to know about.
The poll twice asked Missourians who they were voting for in the Senate race. The first time, Senator Blunt came out barely ahead.
Then they asked a series of questions about the minimum wage. Jason believes that no Missourian working full-time should have to live in poverty. But it’s a reality many families face with Missouri's $7.65 minimum wage - and the federal minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 since 2009.
Senator Blunt, on the other hand, opposes raising the minimum wage.
After those questions, the poll asked again who Missourians planned to vote for. This time, they picked Jason over Senator Blunt by four percentage points.
This poll perfectly illustrates the difference between Jason and Senator Blunt. Jason wants to improve the lives of Missourians and Senator Blunt is ok with the status quo.
Add your name here to support Jason and make sure no one who works hard has to live in poverty.
Thank you,
Team Kander
