Trump's Crippling Obama Envy Threatens To Derail His Administration Before It Begins

Donald Trump evidently just realized that the world is going to be measuring him compared to Barack Obama for the next 4 years. Nobody ever said he was quick.

His “strategy” seems to be to embrace the comparison and attempt a permanent Conwayesque use of "alternate facts” to put the thumb on the scale. We see where this goes. He appears as a caricature, not a legitimate president.

Obama was always his own personal creepy obsession, but clearly he just can't quit Barack. I know how he feels. And ironically, the one thing that will expose this particular brand of naked emperor from the start is for the world to see him as a demoralized racist flailing and coming up short in the same job as the black man he tried to destroy.

And that looks to be the meme taking hold.
